group lessons for Ages 4+

Red Ball (Ages 4 - 7) Level 1 and Level 2

Orange Ball (Ages 7 - 15) Level 1 and Level 2

 

Red Ball is intended for youth aged R4-6 years where participants will utilize Red Balls (25% of the speed/bounce of standard yellow balls) on 36' Court:

Level 1: 

  • For those with little to no previous tennis experience. 
  • Students will learn the basics of the game, including forehands, backhands, and volleys. 

Qualifications to move to Red Advanced Beginning Class: 

  1. Students should demonstrate good form during basic strokes. 
  2. Switch between forehands and backhands comfortably. 
  3. Hit balls without missing during basket feeds. 
  4. Consistently achieve a 5-shot rally with the coach.


Level 2: 

  • For those who can consistently achieve a 10-shot rally with the coach. 
  • Students will learn serves and overheads. 
  • Improving upon previously learned skills. 

Qualifications to move to Orange Advanced Beginning Class: 

  1. Students should exhibit good form during their strokes. 
  2. Sustain short rallies with other students. 
  3. Be consistent with changing pace and direction of their shots. 
  4. Can consistently achieve a 15-shot rally with the coach. 


Schedule

Orange Ball (Ages 7 - 15) Level 1 and Level 2

Orange Ball (Ages 7 - 15) Level 1 and Level 2

 

Orange Ball is intended for youth aged 7-15 years where participants will utilize Orange Balls (50% of the speed/bounce of standard yellow balls) on 60' Court:

Level 1: 

  • For those with little to no previous tennis experience. 
  • Students will learn the basics of the game, including forehands, backhands, and volleys. 

Qualifications to move to Orange Advanced Beginning Class:

  1. Students should demonstrate good form during basic strokes. 
  2. Switch between forehands and backhands comfortably. 
  3. Hit balls without missing during basket feeds. 
  4. Consistently achieve a 5-shot rally with the coach 


Level 2: 

  • For those who can consistently achieve a 5-shot rally with the coach. 
  • Students will learn serves and overheads.

Qualifications to move to Orange Intermediate and/or Orange Rally Clinics: 

  1. Students should exhibit good form during their strokes.

Green Dot Ball (Ages 10 - 16) Level 1 and Level 2

 

Green Ball is intended for youth aged 10-16 years where participants will utilize Green Balls (75% of the speed/bounce of standard yellow balls) on 78' Court

Level 1: 

  • For those with little to no previous tennis experience. 
  • Students will learn the basics of the game, including forehands, backhands, and volleys. 

Qualifications to move to Orange Advanced Beginning Class: 

  1. Students should demonstrate good form during basic strokes.
  2. Switch between forehands and backhands comfortably.
  3. Hit balls without missing during basket feeds. 
  4. Can consistently achieve a 5-shot rally with the coach.


Level 2: 

  • For those who can consistently achieve a 5-shot rally with the coach. 
  • Students will learn serves and overheads.

Green Dot Ball Competition Class (Ages 10 - 16) Level 1 and Level 2

 This class is designed for players using the green dot ball, ideal for players who have developed basic tennis skills and are ready to take on the competitive aspects of the game. In this class, students will focus on improving their consistency, footwork, and overall understanding of match play. Emphasis will be placed on learning how to play and strategize in competitive settings, including serving, rallying, and handling match pressure. The class will also introduce the rules of tennis competition, sportsmanship, and how to keep score. Players will practice playing games, learning how to manage competitive situations, and improving their mental toughness on the court, setting a foundation for future tournament play.

Yellow Ball (Ages 12+) Level 1 and Level 2

Green Dot Ball Competition Class (Ages 10 - 16) Level 1 and Level 2

Yellow Ball Competition Class (Ages 12+) Level 1 and Level 2

 

Yellow Ball is intended for youth aged 12-18 years where participants will utilize standard Yellow Balls on 78' Court.

Level 1: 

  • For those with little to no previous tennis experience. 
  • Students will learn the basics of the game, including forehands, backhands, and volleys. 

Qualifications to move to Orange Advanced Beginning Class: 

  1. Students should demonstrate good form during basic strokes. 
  2. Switch between forehands and backhands comfortably. 
  3. Hit balls without missing during basket feeds. 
  4. Can consistently achieve a 5-shot rally with the coach.


Level 2: 

  • For those who can consistently achieve a 30-shot rally with the coach using green dot balls on 78’ court. 
  • Students will spend time participating in different rally games. 
  • Drills to get better at hitting with each other. 
  • Prepare for match play.

 The yellow ball tennis competition class is aimed at more advanced players who are ready to compete at a higher level. Players will refine their skills through match play, focusing on mastering tactics, shot selection, and court positioning. This class is all about learning to compete with confidence, understanding how to handle pressure, and gaining strategic insight into different playing styles. Players will practice singles and doubles, explore advanced techniques, and learn how to manage both mental and physical challenges in match situations. The class also covers the full competitive tennis rules and prepares players for local, regional, and potentially national tournaments, while fostering a strong sense of sportsmanship and self-discipline.
